Sea ice edge at 77.8 °N. Good surface visibility and ceiling height south of 76.5 °N. Cloudy at 72 °N and 73.5 °N. Surface temperature gets below 0 °C and close to -4 °C at 75 °N.
A cyclone centered at 77 °N and 120 °W. Mostly northwesterly winds along the flight path.
Update [15:00PM, Thur., Oct. 03, 2019 PST]:
Sea ice edge at 77.5 °N. Good surface visibility and ceiling height north of 76 °N. Surface temperature gets below 0 °C and close to -2 °C at 77 °N.
A cyclone centered at 83 °N. Mostly westerly winds along the flight path. Few cloud cover.
Update [14:45PM, Wed., Oct. 02, 2019 PST]:
Sea ice edge at 77.5 °N. Good surface visibility and ceiling height north of 72 °N. Surface temperature gets below 0 °C and close to -5 °C at 77 °N.
The 150 °N line has not much weather, calm northerly winds, with thin low clouds.
