As of 1 October 2025, Dr Aaron Donohoe is PSC’s new Chair. Aaron brings many talents to the position and PSC looks forward to his leadership, vision, and steady hand at the helm. Aaron first joined PSC in 2014 as a postdoctoral research associate and became a PI in 2017 and holds an affiliate faculty appointment in the UW Dept of Atmospheric and Climate Sciences. Aaron’s research interests lie in global scale climate dynamics with a focus on how energy moves through the climate system via radiative and dynamical processes.
